After spending a number of years in custom home design and sales, she returned to her design career, spending time as a design consultant for the prestigious furniture maker, Ethan Allen. Custom architectural detailing and space planning are also among Loraine's areas of expertise.
"Style, scale and historic reference are so important in selecting furniture and accessories, so that things flow seamlessly and the user of the space enjoys the overall effect of the room without needing to be aware of the parts; i.e., the whole is greater than the sum of the parts."
In her early career, Loraine designed for a store planning firm listed in the top 100 Design firms in the USA, as well as a large architectural / engineering firm in Houston..

Profiles of our team of Design Consultants
Robin is a seasoned designer with a style that ranges from cutting edge modern with strong ethereal nuances, to tribal rawness featuring reclaimed wood pieces and ceremonial objects d' art, tempered by soft designer rugs and fur throws….. and then there is the side of Robin's talent that triumphs the traditional and celebrates the nursery and playroom created for your growing family. Executive spaces are a specialty: your office, home office or Media room.
After receiving his formal design education Robin designed for Historically acclaimed furniture magnet, Ethan Allen Inc., gaining a reputation for drawing out his client's truest vision for their space and inviting them to watch as it materialized. He always says that the final reveal and the client's enthusiasm is his best reward. Before arriving at his true calling as an interior designer, Robin's artistic ability took him into a variety of creative fields including in floral design. Silk florals and botanicals as well as natural arrangements are second nature to Mr. Dobbins!
He enjoys creating unique, eclectic spaces for his clients through a "process of discovery," which requires Robin and the client to get to the essence of how the client wants the space to function, feel, and look. This free flow of ideas develops naturally into a one-of-a-kind signature look for each of his clients. As he puts it, "You just never know when the next 'Hey, you dropped your chocolate into my peanut butter' moment might be."
